Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and BKTY LTD (“we”, “us”) for your use of MCPtoAI: the website mcptoai.com, the web app at app.mcptoai.com, MCPtoAI Desktop and the Device Agent (together, “MCPtoAI”). By creating an account or using MCPtoAI, you agree to these terms. If you use MCPtoAI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
1. Who can use MCPtoAI
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use MCPtoAI.
2. The service
MCPtoAI connects AI models you choose to your computer and to MCP services you connect. It consists of the web app, a relay that passes messages between the web app and your devices, and MCPtoAI Desktop with its Device Agent, which runs on your computer. MCPtoAI is under active development, and features may be added, changed or removed over time.
3. Your account
Your account is personal to you. Keep your sign-in method secure, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and your paired devices.
4. Your devices and permissions
You choose which devices to pair, which MCP services to connect and which permissions to grant. Actions that the AI carries out on your computer are performed by the Device Agent with the permissions you have set. In particular:
- review each request carefully before you approve it;
- only allow the capabilities and folders you need;
- keep up-to-date backups of data that tools could change or delete;
- keep MCPtoAI Desktop updated so that you receive security fixes.
You are responsible for the actions you allow or approve, subject to section 13.
5. AI providers, MCP services and costs
AI providers and MCP services are operated by third parties. You use them with your own accounts and API keys, under their terms and policies, and you are responsible for any fees they charge. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, pricing or data practices.
6. AI output
AI models can produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose. Review output before you rely on it, especially before running commands, changing files, or making legal, financial, medical or other important decisions. You are responsible for how you use the output.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use MCPtoAI to:
- access, control or change any computer, account, system or data without authorisation;
- create, distribute or run malware, or carry out any unlawful activity;
- attack, overload, probe or disrupt MCPtoAI or its infrastructure, except through responsible disclosure to us;
- get around security measures, permissions or usage limits;
- infringe the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- resell or provide MCPtoAI to others as a service without our written permission.
You must not copy, modify or reverse engineer MCPtoAI, except where the law allows you to do so.
8. Licence to use the software
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use MCPtoAI Desktop and the Device Agent to use MCPtoAI in accordance with these terms. Open-source components included in the software are provided under their own licences.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you bring to MCPtoAI, including your messages, files and conversations. You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide MCPtoAI to you. We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Fees
If we charge for MCPtoAI or any part of it, the price will be shown to you before you are asked to pay. Charges made by AI providers and MCP services are between you and them.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep MCPtoAI available and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change significantly affects you, we will give you reasonable notice where we can.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using MCPtoAI at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if your use creates a security risk for MCPtoAI or others, or if the law requires it. Where appropriate, we will tell you why and give you the chance to resolve the issue first.
13. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
If you are a consumer
We will provide MCPtoAI with reasonable care and skill. You have legal rights in relation to services and digital content that are not affected by these terms. We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by actions you allowed or approved, by AI providers or MCP services, or by your failure to keep backups or follow our instructions. We provide MCPtoAI for private use; we are not responsible for loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
If you use MCPtoAI for business
To the extent permitted by law, MCPtoAI is provided “as is”, we exclude all implied terms, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for MCPtoAI in that period and £100.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to MCPtoAI or the law. We will change the date at the top of this page and give you notice of significant changes before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you can stop using MCPtoAI and ask us to delete your account.
15. General
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about MCPtoAI. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and will tell you if we do. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
