What are Skills?
Skills are optional instruction or script packages that extend workflows. They are not the same as MCP servers, and they do not automatically grant new device permissions.

Inspect before installing
In Desktop → Skills, supply a supported GitHub repository, package name and full 40-character commit SHA. Inspect the detected package, supported Skills and file hashes before Approve & Install.
Manage your Skills
Enable, disable or remove installed Skills. Review updates and third-party code independently; a file hash verifies integrity, not safety.
Security boundaries
Skills are not sandboxes. Scripts can execute with your user account privileges. Install only trusted packages; review permissions and never assume a Skill is safe because it was listed.
